The Process
Singers are best able to develop their skills in an environment where they feel safe enough to take risks and make mistakes. Our highly-trained voice professionals form a nurturing community in which each and every voice student is valued and developed. Our students' growth takes place through these experiences:
1. Private Lessons
1. Private Lessons
- Students and their instructors meet one-on-one each week for either 30 or 60 minutes.
- Instructors work with each student to identify their strengths and determine areas that need development. Together, the student/teacher team sets goals for each lesson, for the semester, and for the future.
- Specific exercises and repertoire are chosen by the instructor specifically to help students reach their goals.
- Rates: $30/30 minutes; $50/Hour
- Voice Co-op instructors and students meet together once each month for studio classes. This is a safe environment in which students can gain valuable performance experience and hone presentation skills in front of an audience of other students.
- Participants are fostered by all Voice Co-op instructors in addition to their principal private teacher.
- Over time, our students grow into polished performers.
- Visit the Events Page to see the schedule for studio classes this semester. If you are interested in coming to observe, contact an instructor to set up a visit.
- The Voice Co-op presents its students in one recital each semester.
- A professional accompanist performs along with our students.
- Each recital is followed by a reception in which students can celebrate their performances with family, friends, and their instructors.
